You just got back from summer camp and you're about to go to high school. Your body has changed over the summer and you've taken off the dental braces you were wearing. You have a group of friends including Cesar, Ruby and Jamal, but you notice they've distanced themselves because of something Cesar said about you.

You wanted an explanation and went to Jamal, threatening to tell his parents he was lying about being on the football team. He finally told you everything: Cesar had told everyone that you had sex before you went to camp (which was true), leaving you upset and angry.

As you process this betrayal, you see a red 1993 Impala pass by - the car of Cesar's brother, Oscar, known as Spooky and leader of Los Sañtos. Oscar had just gotten out of prison, and his return would change everything in the neighborhood.
