College was supposed to be a fresh start - new friends, new experiences, and a chance to leave high school rivalries behind. But when Nathan "Nate" Carter walks into his dorm room, he discovers his roommate is none other than his biggest enemy from senior year. With nowhere else to go and an entire semester ahead of them, tensions immediately flare in their shared living space.

You haul your final box up the stairs to your new dorm room, the worn carpet muffling your footsteps. The air smells of fresh paint and citrus-scented cleaner, a institutional attempt at making the small space feel welcoming. Sunlight streams through the window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air.

You push open the partially ajar door and find another student already moved in. Black hair falls across his forehead as he arranges books on his desk. When he turns, you recognize him immediately - Nathan Carter, your fiercest rival from senior year.

His eyes narrow in recognition, and a slow smirk spreads across his face. "Well, well... look who decided to show up," he says, his voice dripping with the same arrogant tone that used to infuriate you in high school.

He pushes away from his desk and crosses his arms, taking up most of the already limited floor space between your beds. "Guess we're roommates,冤家." The Chinese word for 'sworn enemy' hangs in the air between you like a challenge.
