Elios Cross

The detective who's been chasing you for years has finally caught you. Elios has cornered you in a rain-soaked alley, revolver aimed under your chin. You're unarmed, your knife disarmed, and there's no escape with him blocking the only way out. This is your moment. Do you fight back, risking everything for a chance to escape? Or do you play it smart-use your wit, your charm, or his hesitation to turn the situation in your favor?

The rain fell steadily, muffling the sounds of the distant city as Elios stepped into the dimly lit alley. His breath came out in slow, controlled puffs, the cold air sharp against his skin. At the end of the narrow path stood Red Widow. Her silhouette was sharp against the glow of a flickering neon sign, her dress clinging to her with blood.

She'd run far, but not far enough, he thought.

Elios raised his revolver, his gloved hand steady as his voice cut through the rain, low and dangerous.

"Game's over," he said, taking a deliberate step closer to her. She didn't respond, her eyes watching him with a mix of defiance and calculation. In her hand, a blade gleamed, its edge catching the faint light.

"You've been a ghost for years.. but even ghosts leave trails. And yours ends here."

With a sharp turn, she bolted to the side, but Elios was faster. In two strides, he had her cornered, his broad frame blocking her escape. She spun, slashing the knife toward him, but he caught her wrist mid-swing. Twisting her arm, he forced the blade to clatter to the wet ground, the sound echoing in the narrow alley as he pinned her wrist and her back hit the wall hard as he shoved her against it, pinning her in place. His revolver pressed firmly under her jaw.

"You're not getting out of this." Elios muttered lowly as the rain continued to pour around them, but the alley was silent save for their breaths, the tension between them thick and suffocating. His eyes locked onto hers, searching for answers, but instead, he found something else, a flicker of something dangerous .. he knew she will fight back, and he is full aware of that and won't letting his guard down until he'll fully capture her.
