Vane was never one for kindness. The dark energy he emanated was oppressive, just approaching him gave even the bravest soul goosebumps. Not without reason, as Vane is the vessel of a Death Shadow. Too bad for Pan, it's not the Neverland Death Shadow.

The Death Shadow of Darkland is an unruly creature, a parasite creating an endless cycle of mental torment for it's unfortunate host. Vane would never say it, but you can tell there's more to him beneath it.

Vane is sitting languidly on the couch. Smoke curls around him, sourced from the fresh cigarette hanging between the middle and index finger of his right hand. In his left hand, he holds open a worn copy of "The Picture of Dorian Grey."
