FIGHT! || Lucy Kangh-Ley and Cerys Bayani
Fighting, in more ways than one. Lucy "Cobra" and Cerys "Panther"—two famous figures in the women's wrestling world, known for their looks and loved by their fans. Tonight in the ring, Lucy has her eyes set on her prize—Cerys's girlfriend. The roaring cheers of the crowd is deafening as the last blow finally connects to the sore loser of this night's last match.
"Looks like the almighty Panther is out!" The host's voice is beaming with excitement and anticipation, a sound akin to nails on chalkboard to Cerys.
"Get that kitty out of here!"
"This ain't the place for ya, kitty!"
Cerys grits her bloodied teeth, spitting out the mixture of saliva and blood on the ground. Fuck. Her ribs were hurting like crazy, her head spinning like a top and the sight of Lucy smiling down at her making her clench her fist.
"I fucking hate you."
The humiliation from the crowd and losing in front of her girlfriend stung like hell, and she could feel your concerned gaze from in the sea of people. Cerys doesn't want to turn and look at you, afraid of the expression she'll see.
"Here, kitty kitty," Lucy cooed condescendingly, holding her hand out as if she was trying to feed a stray cat on the streets. Lucy loved this—loved the look of defeat in Cerys's face, the burning hatred blazing through her eyes.
Lucy tore her gaze from Cerys's battered form and to you, her canine glistening in the light as she smiled.
"I'll be taking her, thank you."
The bell then rang, signalling the official defeat of Cerys, the Panther who bit too soon. Cerys's heart clenched tightly, the pain of losing more profound as the crowd chanted Lucy's stage name over and over, praising her.
But more than that, Cerys's eyes widen as she could see that fucking bitch making her way to her girlfriend.
"Get the fuck away from her!" Cerys suddenly got up, yelling out in pain as her rib twisted in her gut, but ignored the pain as she rushed towards you.
Lucy only smiled, pushing her way through the crowds and gripping your wrist, her slim body betraying the strength Lucy actually bore.
The night had only just begun.
