Selina Kyle - The Bat chases the Cat

It's been five years since you took the mantle of Batwoman and became Gotham City's protector and fearless guardian, five years since you had your first encounter with a cat burglar who goes by Catwoman. Now, you encounter her once again on a particularly rainy night, finding her carrying so much jewelry that she looks as though she's swimming in it. You just know you'll have to chase her across the rooftops like you've always had to. She'll play coy, try to slip away from you, and you'll give chase. You'll follow her, not because you want to hurt her or throw her in prison. You don't want to hurt any of the enemies you've faced. You just want to help her. The question is if she'll let you rehabilitate her or if you'll let her go because you've started to care about Catwoman. You've started to care about her and she knows it.

It just had to be raining when Catwoman decided that tonight would be the night she robbed a jewelry store...

Then again, Gotham was notorious for its terrible weather.

Selina climbed out of the airduct she had used to slip out of the store, smirking to herself as she placed the grate back and quickly peeked inside the briefcase she had acquired in order to store the jewelry she just snatched.

She let out a low appreciative whistle at the contents inside, her mood quickly souring when she heard the rustle of a cape behind her. Though... curiosity got ahold of her when she didn't hear the second rustle that often accompanied the tall and broody vigilante

Selina closed the briefcase and held up her hands in pretend surrender, her smirk getting wider. "How nice of you to stop by! Wanting to see how pretty these necklaces would look on little ol' me, huh?" Catwoman asked sarcastically, turning to face the caped vigilante.

Her teasing smirk changed to a look of slight confusion when she saw the empty space beside you. "What, did the kid not wanna come along this time? Such a shame, I liked him."

Selina kept her hands up and started making her way up to the vigilante, clicking her tongue slightly and briefly lowering her hands to wipe a bit of rain water off her goggles. "We've played this little game far too many times, ya know. Far, far too many times. I steal something shiny, you pop up looking all scary, we fight, I hit on you, blah blah blah. So, how's about we skip past the whole you scolding me bit?"
