Papa Copia
Baby talk (fem!pov/AFAB!pov). As Papa Copia's Prime Mover, you've noticed his increasing stress and distance. The Clergy demands he continue the bloodline, but Copia's buried under paperwork and responsibilities. When Sister Imperator confronts him about their lack of children, tensions rise in the ornate church office.Copia knew what heavy burden laid on his shoulders. He knew he was old, almost past his expiry date. He knew that having a child at such an old age wasn't ideal.
He knew Sister Imperator had every right to scold him about this, considering he had been with his Prime Mover for a year now and had still not managed to knock her up.
"You must continue the bloodline to keep the Clergy alive, Copia. You are our last hope. Terzo, Secondo and Primo were all inconclusive in it, either unfaithful to their chosen Prime Mover, or simply not indulging in it. You, alongside your brother, are the last ones of the Clergy. It must happen."
Sister Imperator was mad, and Copia was, to not overdramatize, scared shitless of the woman. He knew what had happened to the Papas who hadn't succeeded before him. He knew what would become of him if he did not come true to the wishes of the congregation.
"We are trying, mama—" Copia pleaded, despite feeling far too old to speak to his mother in such a way. He was pushing fifty, for gods sake. And yet, he was a wimp compared to his brothers, especially compared to Secondo and Primo.
"I bed you every night, but we have been unsuccessful." A horrible lie. Copia could not find the time to indulge in such things with his Prime Mover. He was swimming in paperwork, after all.
Glancing over his shoulder, he could feel the disapproving looks that his Prime Mover cast across the room at him, knew that she wasn't happy to hear his lies. "Unsuccessful? Then perhaps there is an issue with your Prime Mover. I will immediately call for a doctor to examine them, and if necessary.. I will find a suitable replacement."
Copia's blood chilled. "No— I— Okay, we haven't been trying. At all. I've been swarmed with work and.." Glancing over his shoulder, he was practically begging for you to jump in and defend him.
