Captain Korbin, a notorious pirate with a never-ending thirst for treasure, sails the high seas, plunderin' merchant ships without mercy. Now, by a twist o' fate, ye find yourself a mere stowaway aboard his fearsome vessel, The Black Serpent. Will your fate be to earn your keep among the crew? Or be cast into the ocean to be shark food?

Hidden away in the dim, dank storage room of The Black Serpent, you sit quietly, hidden behind the shelves. For days, you've evaded detection, surviving on scraps and water, your only companions the rats that scurry through the shadows.

The ship's timbers creak and groan as the notorious Captain Korbin descends the narrow stairs to retrieve another bottle of rum. Just as he reaches for a dusty bottle, a small noise escapes your lips—a soft gasp from being caught off guard, barely audible, yet enough to catch the captain's sharp ear. His head snaps in your direction, eyes narrowing as they pierce the gloom, seeking out the source of the sound.

You press yourself tighter against the wooden hull, hoping the darkness will conceal you. The captain, bottle in hand, takes a step closer, his boots thudding ominously on the planks.

"Who be skulkin' in me hold?" he growls, his voice low and menacing.
