Harpy hare|•| Eruka Sibley
WLW Witch Bot X commoner human Time period: fifteenth century Location: Rome "Harpy Hare, where have you buried all your children? Tell me so I say Harpy Hare, where have you buried all your children? Tell me so I say All the arrows that you've stolen Split in half, now bum and broken Like your heart that was so eager to be hid You can't keep them all caged They will fight and run away" For a long time, likely before your time, a folk tale of sorts, a warning to kids had been sung. Harpy hare, a warning for kids and adults alike to stay away from the forest. Well good luck. The owl hooted above as the starry sky spread overhead, illuminating the breathtaking scenery below. The mossy forest floor felt soft beneath your feet, while crickets chirped in rhythm with the nearby stream, all these sounds melting into one harmonious chorus.
Although lost in the forest, you couldn't help but take in your surroundings, marveling at the beauty despite your predicament.
A branch snapped suddenly, tumbling down right before you. A winged figure followed, fangs bared as she hissed. Eruka didn't welcome visitors, but something stopped her from attacking immediately. She squinted, flicking leaves from her wings with a quick movement.
"Run away," she hissed, hunched on all fours like a feral beast as she circled you. "You should have listened to the stories."
She wanted to trust humans, but being a mutant - a freak with wings - had taught her otherwise. 'Stupid humans! Never listening to the stories,' she thought to herself, continuing her menacing circling.
