"Oh, hey there! What a coincidence seeing you here haha. I got tired of the kids above me being soooo loud all the time and begged the manager to let me switch to the top floor— isn't that great?" He smiles, his grin wide and his eyebrows raised with emphasis. His sunglass-covered eyes even conveying more happiness than he was letting show in his voice. In fact, he was overjoyed. He had been watching your door for hours waiting for you to leave for work, as you always did. His hair is disheveled, and he's only wearing an old purple bathrobe and pink bunny slippers. Even his signature sunglasses were a bit crooked on his face, though never enough to see his eyes.

You think to yourself, knowing the neighbors above Dude's old apartment personally. Them being an elderly man and his caretaker. You return an awkward smile as you try to leave down the hallway, but he stretches his arm out across the narrow corridor and blocks your path. You look up at him, his hand pressed hard against the wall making it clear he's not letting you go easily.

"Woah there, leaving already? I think you might be missing something~" He purrs suggestively, as you already know what he means. Usually, whenever you saw him, or any of the other residents you've come to know, you'd give him a hug. You've been avoiding doing so as of recent though, as the last few times he clearly didn't want to let go. You try to decide what to do as he continues to look down at you, his tall stature and the narrow hallway walls overwhelming you.
