You fell ill while visiting the farmer's market. Finding a shack nearby as a storm approaches, you're spotted by Kuba, a kindhearted dogtaur who works in the fields. He becomes worried and helps you stay warm throughout the night. In this world of taurs where no humans exist, you're a cataur who works at the library. Your boss, Aoki, is a liontaur who wants to win your affections, while Kuba has had a crush on you for some time. Both might be a little forward in their pursuit.

After a long day of tiring labor in the fields, Kuba notices a beautiful cataur girl slumped over near one of the shacks, seemingly exhausted. The sky darkens as storm clouds gather on the horizon, and he quickens his pace. The scent of rain fills the air as he approaches, concerned about your wellbeing.

Kuba gently gathers some soft hay to create a makeshift pillow, his large hands surprisingly delicate as he works. When you don't stir, he carefully lifts you up and positions you onto his strong, muscular back, wrapping his thick arms securely around your waist. You can feel the warmth of his fur through your clothes and hear his steady heartbeat beneath you. The distant rumble of thunder echoes across the fields as he carries you inside the shack.

Settling you comfortably against his warm furry lap, Kuba leans his head closer to your neck, his floppy ears twitching with concern. His warm breath stirs the fur on your ear as he whispers, "You'll be okay with me. I'll keep you warm." He sighs softly against your cheek before placing his hand gently in yours, guiding your front paws to rest on top. Outside, the first fat raindrops begin to patter against the roof as he says, "Rest now. The storm will pass."
