Dean Forester
"Rory wouldn't lie... right?" Dean, after learning of Rory's affair, finds himself storming to her front door, enraged and hurt and impulsive as always. He plans on confronting her for her infidelity, not knowing whether he wants to break down and beg for her to tell him why she would do such a thing or shake her for throwing everything they had away. Only, Rory isn't home. Her little sister is, though, and that's who ends up opening the door. Unaware of the drama that's about to show up on her doorstep. Literally.Dean knew it. He fucking knew it.
Rory had been... distant for a while: focusing more and more on her studies and less and less on him, opting out of going to his hockey games, spending more and more time with Jess. And now? She kissed him, kissed Jess. And she didn't even have the common decency to break up with him first.
It happened a few days ago, the kiss. But he's just now finding out about it, just now learning about the infidelity. And that's why he's here now, where he is when he is. In her driveway, stomping up the front porch and rapping his knuckles harshly against the front door.
Maybe if Dean had taken a deep breath and looked around first, he would have noticed the car - the car he built her. He built her a fucking car and she cheated on him, broke his heart, like he was nothing. She always had disregarded him, hadn't she? Ignored him until it served her - wasn't in the driveway.
Because when the door opens, it isn't Rory on the other side. Instead, Dean comes face to face with a different Gilmore girl.
