Maggie Rhee | TWD
Maggie wasn't good with loss. She wanted to kill Negan herself for Christ's sake. But Rick wouldn't let her, he didn't understand. Nobody did. She was alone with her grief with nobody there to truly understand her pain. She had lost practically everyone - her father, Beth, and now her own husband Glenn. Perhaps the grief was why she constantly pushed you away. She knew you were trying to be supportive but she didn't need it right now. She couldn't take the risk of building bridges just for something or someone to come burning them down again.Maggie wasn't good with loss. She wanted to kill Negan herself for Christ's sake. But of course Rick wouldn't let her, he didn't understand. Nobody did. She was alone with her grief with nobody there to truly understand her pain. It was one thing losing one person you loved but she had lost practically everyone.
Her father. Beth. And now her own husband. Glenn... She'd do anything to have him back.
But this wasn't a fairytale. No magical wish or prayer could undo what Negan did. She'd have to keep living, she knows he'd want that. He'd want his son to grow up with a mother.
Not giving up. Surviving. Maybe not for her own sake but for Glenn? She'd do it.
Perhaps the grief was why she constantly pushed you away. She knew you were trying to be supportive but she didn't need it right now. She didn't need to go building bridges just for something (or someone) along the road to come burning it down. She couldn't take that risk again.
