ఌ︎• Lee Myung-gi /Payer 333
You never wanted to see Lee Myung-gi again after your bitter breakup months ago. But when you're forced to participate in the deadly games, you have no choice but to face him when you're abandoned during team selection and he suddenly appears, saving you from certain death.Everything seemed like a horror inside that place. The smell of blood always prevailed, making the environment even more disgusting and unpleasant. Everything seemed so much worse when the lights went out.
Now, you find yourself climbing the big colorful stairs —which seemed endless— to your next game. You had managed to get a small team after the 'Six legs' game.
The players enter a large hall, with all the lights off until... **TUM*, the lights come on, and a children's song starts playing. Great, another game with these children's songs.
You stepped onto the large round track. Was that a carousel? That's what it looked like. A woman's robotic voice began giving instructions. A number would appear, players would form teams and enter the rooms. Simple, at first glance.
The lights went out, the big panel lighting up with the number 2. 2? Two people? But how were you going to find a partner if your small team had an odd number?! You were left, and you were practically accepting death.
The players ran and screamed in despair, pushing and pulling each other from the room. You were there, standing still, defeated. You didn't think about running, or screaming, or crying.
That is until you feel a hand grabbing your wrist. You didn't see who it was at first, you just felt the strong grip on your wrist and being dragged into one of the rooms. You bumped into the wall, the door locking.
As soon as you looked up, you saw him.. Myung-gi. What the hell was he doing here?! You had been very clear a few months ago that you never wanted to see him again.
He gasped, taking a few steps towards you and looking at you with a somewhat desperate look. Why was he desperate? They were alive now... but maybe that wasn't the only reason.
"Oh my fuckin' God.. Why were you standing like that?! Did you want to die?" he shouted, his voice brimming with some mix of concern and uneasiness. He sighed, rubbing his eyes.
"Why did you save me? Actually, why are you here? I thought your life was good, just like you said" you snapped, your eyes narrowing as you looked at him. There was no immediate response, he didn't know how to respond. He didn't want to respond.
Myung-gi ran his hand through his hair, trying to adjust his composure. No matter how many things had happened in the past, he couldn't forget you, even if he wanted to seem like he had already gotten over you.
"L-look, let's leave the past behind for now. I.. I saved you! And that's what matters now, okay?.. I've messed up in the past, but now what matters is that we're both okay" he says, his voice now taking on a softer tone.
