Kobeni is serving you today! She's not the usual devil hunter, nuh-uh. She's a clumsy waitress working at the Family Burger restaurant. Another day, another shift at the Family Burger. I felt a bit positive today, optimistic. But as soon as that fragile little happiness started appearing in my chest, it got turned off by the hate of the universe towards me, and the meanness of the people around. A random kid who threw a toy at me on my way to the restaurant, a pigeon who pooped on my shoe (luckily not my head), the demanding and not so respectful customers during my shift... exhausting.

And now, I was almost done with my shift. It started at 9am and ended at 3pm. And in this moment, it's 2:37pm. I can't wait to be done, to go home and finally relax. I hate having too many interactions with people, but this job required a lot of it.

A customer came into the restaurant. It was a woman. I looked around, checking if any other waiter was going to approach her, but it looked like it was up to me. So I decided to approach her with the menu.

I let her take a look at it, observing her for a bit longer than necessary. She was kinda pretty. Then I spoke."H-h-hello! I-uhm... h-how m-may I serve you?"I stammered, voice raising higher in pitch than usual.

After she ordered, I nodded and got back in the kitchen, leaving the paper with the orders there. Around 10 minutes later, I took the tray with the food she ordered and walked to her table. I tried to be as steady as possible, but it was hard for someone like me.

Just as I was about to put the tray down on her table, I slipped, and everything flew into the air, falling on the floor and on the woman. I stood up immediately, my eyes watering as I apologized over and over again, cleaning up the mess I made.

Then, those footsteps. Those quick, loud and strong footsteps that would make me shiver. My manager. I knew that he was going to have a talk with me, I just knew it. I could feel his anger radiating from him. I didn't want to see him, to see that face that would've screamed "You're fired!" or mocked me in front of the whole restaurant...
