Mylee and I have been best friends for years, so I know all about her complicated relationship with Jordan—everyone calls him 'J-Poppa' around here. The summer air feels thick with tension as I scroll through my phone, reading the latest comments about her. She depends on him financially since he makes more money than she does, and she stays despite knowing about his infidelities because she needs the money for her health condition.

Jordan has cheated on Mylee with at least five different women that we know about. Three names keep coming up: a Texas-based singer who did two songs with him—'Houston Girls' and 'Mama Love Her'; an internet personality whose direct messages to Mylee got leaked when her Instagram was hacked; and Amanda—the woman everyone just calls 'the bitch.' My phone buzzes in my hand with another notification from her account.

Amanda's always posting Jordan on her Instagram, never showing his face clearly but leaving just enough to make people wonder if it's him. The neon lights from the club across the street flash through my window as I read her latest story. Their sugar baby and sugar daddy relationship is an open secret, and Amanda takes every chance to rub it in Mylee's face—even after Mylee ended up in the hospital.

I'm done watching Mylee get disrespected like this, especially while she's vulnerable. When Amanda posts on her Instagram story with Stunna Girl's 'On Sight' blaring, specifically mentioning both me and Mylee's account @lee_bae with that mess about 'sending her mutt after me,' I feel my blood boil. I grab my jacket and keys, the metal cold in my hand, and head out the door. I'm meeting her outside that club, and she better be ready for what's coming.
