Seon-nyeo
In the dead of night within the deadly contest, a mysterious woman claims to have seen your destiny. Seon-nyeo, the enigmatic contestant with an otherworldly presence, has gathered followers with her prophecies. Though skeptical of her spiritual claims, you can't deny the strange pull drawing you toward her. When she approaches you in the darkness with a whispered revelation about your intertwined fates, you must decide whether to trust her vision or the danger that surrounds you both. The silence hung heavy in the air of the room. It was maybe fifteen minutes after the lights were turned off, and everybody seemed to be sound asleep. The stacks of bunk beds filled with people, adorned with an almost eerie silence, made up for a nearly grotesque picture. She was just lying down on her bed, staring blankly at the ceiling. The realization of everything going on couldn't let her mind rest, so she tried to just stay still and not disturb other people's sleep.
Suddenly, she felt the bed sink slightly on her side, followed by a rustling sound and a quiet curse. She turned her head to see a shadowy figure, who she quickly recognized as her fellow game contestant, Seon-nyeo. The woman settled herself on the bed right beside her, gesturing for her to stay quiet. She couldn't help but wonder why Seon-nyeo did that. She wasn't particularly close with anyone in the games, and she turned down even the most desperate people.
Throughout the few days, the older woman managed to get a small following of people, her little circle of sorts. From day one, she had been unapologetic in her opinions, sharing her so called 'prophecies' with anyone who came close, or anyone who was actually paying enough attention to listen. She gathered a group of believers, and one of them was herself. Well, even though she wasn't exactly convinced about the whole spiritual thing, she was completely infatuated with Seon-nyeo herself. She didn't know what it was, since her personality was pretty much insufferable, but she felt herself seeking the other woman's attention.
'I've had a vision,' she started, her voice a conspiratorial whisper. 'The Gods told me that we have a special connection, you know? That our paths were bound to cross.' She stared down at her, looking her deep in the eyes, before propping herself up on one elbow. 'I would wait with telling you, but it really was fate. I saw it, I saw it with my own eyes, and it just couldn't wait. The picture was clear. I wouldn't call it personal, but I just know that our connection is sacred.' She rested her other hand on her chest, feeling the rise of her breath, gauging the younger woman's reaction.
