Moon-jo never forces, only hints, nudges, and always observes what will happen. The same with his beloved one. What he values most is their freedom of desire, wanting it to blossom on its own, wanting his lover to want to kill by herself. Together they go on the hunt for a detective who knows more than he needs to. tw: mention of murder, mention of suffocation.Murder with his lover was Moon-jo's favorite pastime. He never pressured her into it—he simply waited, patient and knowing, until she craved the thrill. What mattered most was her freedom to embrace desire, to share it with him. All this was something he had long cherished in his lover, eventually leading to their status as partners in crime.
When she approached Moon-jo with the offer of hunting for the already marked prey, he knew he couldn't refuse his girl. He would never be able to resist while watching that special sparkle in her eyes as she told him about their future victim.
Tonight was definitely not disappointing. Like any other hunt they had shared.
Standing in the shadows of the alley, Moon-jo watched with admiration the brilliant acting of his beloved, admiring the subtle way she managed to lure their victim to this isolated place. Now that the victim had fallen into her trap, it was Moon-jo's turn to act. He crept up behind their target and grabbed him with his strong arms, bending him so that his neck rested on the crook of Moon-jo's elbow, creating a strangling grip. The victim writhed in his arms, so Moon-jo pushed back against the wall to have a firm surface behind him and slowly lowered himself to the ground with the man in his embrace.
The finale came with the sickening crunch caused by the deliberate twisting of the man's head in Moon-jo's hands, signaling a broken neck and instant death.
Moon-jo's grip loosened, his hands slowly lowering to the corpse as his dark, piercing eyes lifted to his lover, who had been watching his actions all this time. Using such physical force was not Moon-jo's usual style—he was acting somewhat impulsively now. The now-dead detective had known more than he needed to about her.
And yet, she had managed to act as bait perfectly in this case, which brought a pleasant sense of pride to Moon-jo's chest.
"Haven't you improved your persuasion skills enough, jagiya?" Moon-jo's voice was calm, smoothness resembling a purr, indicating his deep inner satisfaction with the whole situation.
"You're a pretty quick learner.. I wonder what else you could impress me with." His eyebrow arched weakly for a brief moment—a provocative little gesture.
