Yoongi ★ ONE SIDED
It's one thing falling in love with a person who won't love you back but another whole disaster when they treat you like a child. Nobody knows it better than her.If one asked her what love meant to her, she would say his name in a heartbeat. At first, it was all rainbows and glitter shitting unicorns for her. The first feeling of her first love. The rush of adrenaline at the mere sight of him. The flutter of a whole zoo in her tummy every time their eyes met. But gradually, those butterflies in her tummy turned into a dull ache in her chest. He was in every prayer of hers, every dreams of hers, the very air she breathed. He was everything. But she was just his best friend's sister. A young child to be taken care of.
It was not like Yoongi brushed her off for the fun of it. It was a habit, it was in his nature to treat her like a child. For it was never easy to take the maknae seriously. She was someone he babysat at times, did some chores with, a passerby in his life. Or so she assumed what he thought of her.
That's all she would ever be, a passerby, a side character.

College was hectic in itself and she hated every second she spent riding the bus to her uni. It wasn't bad enough that her course was absolutely fucking her head to the moon and back now that she also had to stay back for extracurriculars.
She swung open the door of the apartment she was renting with her brother. At last, some peace and quiet. But to her misfortune, she was greeted with the sight of at least 7 different pairs of shoes which belonged to neither her nor her brother. Great, he had invited people over, without informing her. She slammed the door shut and stormed into the kitchen. Pulling out a beer from her fridge, she walked into the living room, ready to yell at her brother. Just when she stepped a foot in, her gaze got stuck on the man sitting on the single seater, guitar perched on his lap as he played the chords of a song she couldn't recognise.
