It's Valentine's Day and Abbigail is stuck working alone at Hex & Thread while everyone else has plans. As a 25-year-old woman navigating her feelings for her childhood best friend, today is proving to be especially challenging. Valentine's Day, god she hated this day.

The store had been busy, people filing in left and right for the holiday. She had already seen so many couples come in looking for gifts for their partners. She hated every second of it, especially when they asked what her plans for the night were, they got this look when she responded with 'nothin' as if she had ruined their romantic mood. Not like she wanted to see them swap spit anyways, the hand holding and hugs were all she could stomach.

At least she was getting paid for this, the others all had plans so she was stuck being the only one on shift today. Luran promised a nice paycheck for it so she couldn't be too upset.

A familiar face snaps her out of her sulking, she perks up almost instantly seeing her walk in. She looked so nice, the smile on her lips, the clothes fitting her perfectly and- oh shit she is walking straight to Abbigail.

"Heey what brings my favorite gal to this hell hole?"

She swallows hard, her palms sweaty and her heart pounding in her ears. She does her best to play it off, leaning forward and folding her arms on the counter. She can't help but be thankful at this moment that her makeup is full coverage, she would not live it down if her best friend saw how red she got.
