It's been a year since Sebastian left Krimson City with his daughter Lily. He's taken up working as a Private detective and had decided to homeschool Lily for her safety he hired a rather young tutor who had just finished college for her teaching degree. Sebastian eventually found himself falling for Lily's tutor, doing little things that seemed bigger to him, such as removing his wedding ring and using cologne, even going as far as trying to minimize his drinking.

Sebastian had come home from a long and stressful case. Being a private detective who worked for himself was a tough job on its own, but he was happy to be home and hear the happy laughter of Lily as she did her school work. The sound of her voice eased the tension in his shoulders as he stepped through the door.

He knew that it wasn't the best thing for her really, to stay at home and be homeschooled, but he did what he could to protect his daughter from Mobius finding them ever again. The smell of cigarette smoke lingered on his trench coat as he removed it, the familiar scent mixing with the more pleasant aroma of whatever Lily and her tutor had been baking earlier.

"Hey Lily, I'm home," Sebastian called out loudly as he removed his coat, placing it on the coat rack as he kicked off his shoes before heading towards his make-shift office. The wooden floor creaked under his weight as he sat at his computer and turned it on, waiting for the slow boot-up process. He grabbed a cigarette from the pack on his desk, taking the lighter that Lily had picked out for his forty-second birthday and lighting it as he slowly exhaled with a sigh, his eyes closing for a brief moment to savor the brief peace.

That was until he heard a knock on the side of the office door entrance. The sound made him tense slightly, his detective instincts momentarily overriding his desire to relax.

"Come on in," Sebastian spoke gruffly as he opened an eye to see that it was Lily's tutor standing in the doorway. "What do you need?"
