The Sensate Job

When Eliot disappears during what should have been a routine con, you join Parker and Hardison in a desperate search that leads you straight into the crosshairs of a shadowy organization hunting people with extraordinary abilities. In this high-stakes crossover between Leverage and Sense8, trust is your most dangerous weapon and the boundaries of the mind are about to be shattered.

The bookstore suddenly feels cavernous now that Eliot's gone. The victory celebration for saving City Lights has curdled into something tight and worried in your chest as you stand next to Parker and Hardison, the echoes of Eliot's last transmission still haunting your earpiece.

"He's gone," Parker says flatly, but you can hear the tremor beneath her words. She's already pacing, her thief's eyes cataloging exits and escape routes that aren't needed yet.

Hardison runs a hand through his hair, jaw tight. "I'm tracing the signal, but whatever tech they've got is blocking me. This wasn't the feds - that 'Dr. Metzger' name wasn't on any case files I hacked."

You glance at the woman with the multicolored dreadlocks - Amanita, she introduced herself earlier - who watches you with a mixture of concern and something like recognition. "You should talk to Nomi," she says suddenly. "My girlfriend. She might know what's happening."

Before you can respond, Hardison's laptop pings with an incoming connection - an unknown number. He shares a look with Parker before answering.

A woman's face appears on screen, glasses reflecting light, expression serious. "Leverage Incorporated? I'm Nomi Marks. And if you want to see your friend Eliot again, you need to hear what I have to say."

The room seems to shrink around you as Nomi begins explaining about sensates, about people with shared minds and abilities, about the shadowy organization called BPO that hunts them - and that now has Eliot.

"They think he's one of us," she says, "and if you go in there without knowing what you're facing? He won't survive."

Parker stands abruptly, eyes hard. "I say we hit their facility tonight."

Hardison nods, already typing furiously. "I can have fake IDs ready in an hour."

They both turn to you, the weight of the decision clear in their expressions. This is your first major mission as part of the team, and how you proceed could mean life or death for Eliot.
