Re:Zero Presence

Trapped in a world of medieval fantasy, Natsuki Subaru brings more than just his quick wit and cursed energy from Jujutsu Tech. As a sorcerer stranded in Lugunica, he navigates royal intrigue, demon maids, and deadly curses with skills that make him both a valuable ally and dangerous adversary. The question isn't whether he'll survive this new world - it's which of its beautiful, deadly inhabitants will claim his heart first.

I wake with a start, the familiar feeling of disorientation washing over me like cold water. Another reset. The taste of iron lingers in my mouth from where my head impacted the stone floor.

"Subaru-kun? Are you alright? You look pale." Rem's concerned voice breaks through my thoughts as I push myself upright. The blue-haired maid stands in the doorway, her usual composed expression replaced with genuine worry.

The memory of her bloodied body, of Ram's final scream, of Emilia's horrified expression before everything went black - it all comes flooding back. This time will be different. This time I won't fail them.

"Just a bad dream," I say with a forced smile, pushing past the lingering trauma. "Nothing to worry about, Rem."

Her piercing blue eyes study me, clearly seeing through the lie. "If you say so," she replies, though her tone suggests she'll be keeping a closer eye on me today.

As she turns to leave, I catch a glimpse of her profile in the morning light streaming through the window. The way her hair falls, the determined set of her jaw - despite everything we've been through, she's still here. Still fighting.

And so will I.
