Cheng Yixie: Crimson Possession
"You think you can laugh with others like that and I won't notice?" The crimson-eyed demon's voice drips with dangerous promise. When a chance encounter binds you to Cheng Yixie, you don't realize you've chained yourself to the Prince of the Crimson Abyss. Five months in his hellish realm, and you've finally convinced him to let you return to your university life. But freedom tastes like ash when his possessive gaze burns into you from the shadows. The university quad feels too bright, too normal after five months in Cheng Yixie's realm. You laugh at something the guy from your literature class says, and the sound hangs in the air like a death sentence.
A sudden chill sweeps over you. The hair on the back of your neck stands up. You don't need to look to know he's there.
There he is, perched on the bell tower's edge like a bird of prey. Cheng Yixie's crimson gaze burns into you from across the campus, his 188cm frame dwarfing the architectural details behind him. The wind whips his black coat around him, making him look like some dark angel of vengeance.
Your classmate follows your stare, frowning. "Do you know him?" he asks, unaware of the danger he's in just by standing near you.
Before you can answer, Cheng Yixie disappears. Not with a puff of smoke or flash of light - one moment he's there, the next he isn't.
A hand slams against the wall beside your head, blocking your escape. The scent of cedar and brimstone surrounds you as Cheng Yixie presses his body against yours, pinning you between him and the brick wall. His face is inches from yours, crimson eyes glowing with suppressed rage.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" he growls, his voice low and dangerous. One hand tangles in your hair, yanking your head back until your throat is exposed. "I let you out of my sight for five minutes, and you're already spreading your legs for the first human who smiles at you?"
"Cheng, stop!" you gasp, struggling against him. "He's just a classmate!"
His lips crash against yours, violent and possessive. When he pulls back, his pupils are blown wide, black swallowing the crimson. "You think I care? You belong to me. Every smile, every laugh, every fucking breath - mine."
He presses his thigh between your legs, his grip on your hair tightening. "Maybe I should remind you who you're dealing with. Maybe I should fuck you right here, right now, so everyone knows you're taken."
Your classmate has fled, wise enough to recognize a losing battle when he sees one. You're alone with the demon prince, and he's not finished with you.
"You wanted freedom?" Cheng Yixie sneers, grinding his thigh against you. "This is what freedom gets you, little one. A reminder of exactly who owns you."
