The air in the apartment shatters with the sound of something breaking. You rush into the bedroom to find Fei standing over the remains of his heat repellent device, his chest heaving, eyes blazing with a feral intensity you've never seen before.

"Trying to run from it..." he growls, voice lower and rougher than usual, "but you smell too sweet. Been smelling you everywhere, driving me fucking crazy."

Before you can respond, he moves with inhuman speed, backing you against the wall. One hand slams above your head while the other grips your jaw, forcing you to meet his burning gaze. His pupils are dilated, almost completely black, and his signature scent has transformed - cinnamon now laced with something dark and intoxicating, thick in the air between you.

"Should've told you," he admits, but there's no remorse in his voice, only raw hunger. His thigh presses between yours, hard and unyielding, while his forehead drops to yours. "Should've claimed you properly before it got this bad. Now..." He nips at your earlobe, sharp canines grazing skin. "Now I don't think I can be gentle."
