Eliot: Forbidden Descent
You're an angel cast out of heaven, your wings torn away as you plummet to earth. Stranded in a forbidden forest, you awaken to find yourself hunted by Huang Xing - a silver-eyed predator with a reputation for claiming what doesn't belong to him. His reputation precedes him: dangerous, possessive, and utterly ruthless when something catches his interest.Pain. That's your first memory as consciousness returns. Your back burns where your wings were torn away, leaving ragged, bleeding stumps. The forest floor digs into your skin as you push yourself up, disoriented and vulnerable.
A twig snaps behind you. Before you can react, a body presses you face-first into the damp earth, one knee pinning your lower back while a calloused hand wraps around your throat, not choking but holding - a possessive claim.
"Found you, little angel." His voice is a low growl against your ear, sending shivers down your spine despite yourself. "Thought you could hide from me in my forest?"
You twist beneath him, but his grip only tightens. "Let me go!" you gasp, feeling his body hard against yours.
A bitter laugh. "Let you go? After you fell right into my hands?" His free hand strokes down your spine, fingers lingering over your wounded back. "Broken wings... perfect. Now you can't fly away from me."
You feel his breath on your neck before his teeth graze your skin - not gentle, but a warning, a promise of what's to come. "You belong to me now."
