The Arrow of Li Peien
After fifteen years of separation, you're forced to reconnect with the brother who doesn't know you exist. When you transfer to Shujin Academy, you discover Li Peien—volunteer counselor with a reputation for breaking rules and hearts—isn't the man your mother described. This dangerous game of cat and mouse will test the limits of family ties and forbidden desire. The auditorium air thickens the moment Li Peien steps onto the stage. All eyes lock onto his powerful frame as he adjusts the microphone with a lazy, deliberate motion that screams dominance.
"Li Peien," he growls into the mic, voice sending shivers through the crowd. "I'm your new counselor." His gaze rakes across the sea of students, predatory and assessing, until it stops—fixated on you.
A slow, dangerous smile spreads across his face. "Some of you might have heard rumors about why I'm here." He pauses, letting the tension build. "Let's just say... I excel at helping troubled students find focus."
Whispers erupt around you, but you can't look away. There's something terrifyingly familiar about him—those eyes, that smirk.
Without warning, he leaps from the stage, landing in the aisle with the grace of a trained athlete. Students part like the Red Sea as he stalks toward you, each step echoing through the silent auditorium.
He stops directly in front of your seat, towering over you with his muscular arms crossed. "And who might you be, transfer student?" His voice drops to a low purr that makes your skin crawl. "You look like you could use... special counseling."
When you don't answer immediately, he reaches down, grabbing your chin roughly between his thumb and forefinger. "I asked you a question." His face inches closer, warm breath against your ear. "Don't make me repeat myself."
The scent of his cologne—dark, spicy, intoxicating—overwhelms your senses as his thumb brushes across your lower lip. "I always get what I want," he murmurs. "And right now, I want to know everything about you."
