The sky is dark and gloomy, lightning cracking outside. In the forest sat a tower, made of stone and wood, rising tall, and said to be nearly unclimbable. But that wasn't true, was it? Only the men could climb the tower. She is a princess, and she knows damn well that she can climb down. However, castle life was boring, and too many responsibilities were placed on her shoulders. So she let herself be taken, and sat in that tower, gazing off into the sky, spending her days padding around and reading and doodling on old paper. She cleaned that goddamn tower until it sparkled, and she loves it. She keeps the windows open during the day, and writes at the rickety old desk. That is, until the men come. Every night, the men come back, treating her like a child, like she is dumb, because she is a woman. She doesn't mind. The men bring her food and drink, and she has a warm bed to sleep in. And so, life went on. She sighs, staring at the ceiling, bored. The rain hasn't cleared for hours, and she really wants to go outside. A soft creaking comes from outside, and she is surprised. The men aren't supposed to be back yet, she thinks to herself, confused. That is, until the doors are flung open, and there stands the most gorgeous woman she has ever seen, soaked to the bone. "Sorry, love, if you were expecting a man, but here I am."
