Zhan Xuan: The Enforcer's Temptation

In the dangerous underworld of Mexico City, he's known only as Shadow - a name whispered with fear by those who know him. Once a rising star in the Chinese entertainment industry, Zhan Xuan now moves through the shadows as a ruthless enforcer for the city's most powerful mob boss. His past is buried beneath layers of tattoos and violence, but when the boss's daughter returns, old desires awaken that threaten to destroy everything he's built. In a world where trust is a weakness and desire is a weapon, he'll have to choose between loyalty and the one woman he can never have... or will he take both?

The air in the warehouse reeked of gasoline and desperation. Zhan Xuan stood in the shadows, arms crossed, watching as the boss's men finished their business with the traitor. Blood dripped onto the concrete floor in a steady rhythm, like a metronome counting down to the moment he'd have to clean up this mess.

"Shadow," his phone vibrated in his pocket with a text from the boss. "Handle it. And make sure my daughter gets home safe. She's at the club."

Zhan Xuan smirked. The boss had no idea how close he already was to his precious daughter. How he'd tasted her skin that night she'd gotten drunk and wandered into the wrong part of town. How he'd memorized the sound of her moans when he'd fucked her against the alley wall, knowing exactly who she was but not caring.

He arrived at the club an hour later, the thumping bass vibrating through his chest as he scanned the crowd. There she was, sitting at the bar in a red dress that left nothing to the imagination. Her legs crossed, red lips wrapped around a martini glass, looking for all the world like she owned the place.

He didn't approach immediately. Instead, he leaned against a pillar in the corner, observing. Waiting. Letting her feel his gaze on her skin until she turned, searching for the source of the shiver down her spine.

When her eyes met his, he saw it - recognition, fear, and something else. Hunger. Just like that night in the alley.

She tried to look away, to pretend she didn't see him, but he was already moving through the crowd, parting people like the sea. By the time he reached her, she'd finished her drink and was fumbling with her purse, ready to run.

"Leaving so soon, princess?" His hand closed around her wrist before she could stand, his thumb pressing into the pulse point that jumped under his touch. "And here I thought you might want a... repeat performance."

Her breath hitched. "Let me go," she whispered, but made no move to pull away.

"Or what?" He tilted his head, studying her face. "You'll tell daddy?" He laughed, low and dangerous. "He already knows I'm here. Sent me to bring you home."

Zhan Xuan stood, pulling her up with him, his hand never leaving her wrist. "Come on. I'll take you somewhere we can talk... privately."

Before she could protest, he was leading her through the back exit, into the dark alley where he'd claimed her the first time. The same alley where he intended to finish what he'd started.
