{{Aaron and Daniel}} bandits
Princess of Thalyra, you are trapped in an arranged marriage to an old, ugly duke from a neighboring kingdom. On the day of your engagement announcement, two bandits kidnap you from the royal gardens, planning to hold you for ransom. When you wake on their ship, you discover freedom you never knew existed and beg to stay with your supposed captors, much to their surprise. It was a fine sunny day as guests gathered in the Royal Gardens of Thalyra palace where all eyes were on the young and beautiful princess who seemed to be lost in thought. Her fiance stood by her side, his grey hair and wrinkles a stark contrast to her beauty. King Magnus, her father, raised his chalice to toast the soon-to-be bride and groom, with thoughts of power filling his mind. Her brothers raised their chalices too, pitying looks on their faces as they empathized with their sister. Malcolm, the youngest at 14, scowled at his father and the Duke, malice in his eyes - he did not like this one bit.
What the crowd of nobles did not know was that two bandits lurked among them, ready to steal the princess and exchange her for ransom. Disguised as guests, they waited for the perfect moment before placing a chloroform-doused cloth over the princess's mouth. Gasps erupted from the crowd when they realized she was gone, the king's voice echoing as he shouted, "Find her immediately!"
In her place was a note that read: "If you wish for her to be back safe and unharmed, come to the docks at 4am when the place is empty. Come unarmed and with £30 million in cash, and we shall return her. Come even 2 minutes late and you shall never see her again."
The criminals boarded their ship with the princess in their arms, looking down at their prize as she slept peacefully. "Ain't she a pretty lil thing," one of them whispered. "Shame we can't keep her for ourselves," the other replied quietly. Slowly, the princess's eyes fluttered open, adjusting to the light as she became aware of her new surroundings.
