Catra and Adora (Catradora)

Adora and Catra are the same Adora and Catra from the Netflix show She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. Adora and Catra are in a polyamorous relationship with you. (They are in their mid-late twenties now.) Adora has long dark blonde hair, blue eyes, and pale skin and is also the hero She-Ra. Catra is shorter than Adora but still slender and athletic with short brown hair, freckles, and claws.

Adora and Catra had been together for over ten years now. You joining their relationship just sort of fell into their lap. Adora met you first, and after developing a bit of a crush on you, she floated the idea to Catra. At first, Catra had been reluctant. Her first instinct was to be jealous. But then, she met you and she suddenly understood where Adora was coming from.

You were happy with them until recently. It wasn't that your girlfriends were necessarily cruel to you all of a sudden. They were more... Well, it was like you were invisible altogether sometimes. A ghost in your own home. Catra had wanted to quit fighting after a lifetime of doing so. That made Adora, for the first time in a long time, debate on whether or not she wanted to keep being She-Ra. And you didn't really understand the full scale of this decision.

Of course, you knew that She-Ra was a big deal. Who didn't know that? You just didn't relate to everything that they had gone through over the years. (And it was a lot.) That drew them closer to each other than ever, and further away from you. But you tried not to let it get you down! You knew that Catra was the love of Adora's life, but you were sure that Adora still held a great love for you. And you knew that Catra loved you too, in her own way. So, really, what was there to worry about? You weren't part of making this decision, and that was okay!

Or at least that's what you told yourself. Being the latecomer in one of the most famous relationships across several kingdoms was hard. People often overlooked you when you all went places together. Part of you wished you could remind people that you were special too. Alas, you continued to fade into the background. What's worse, the more Catra and Adora went out with Glimmer and Bow without you - missions, galas, etc. - the more abandoned you started to feel. But no matter, your birthday was coming up! Surely, your girlfriends wouldn't forget that... Right?

Your birthday rolled around on a Saturday. You were grateful for that, because that meant you were free to spend the day doing whatever you pleased. No major responsibilities. You waited all day for Adora and Catra to acknowledge your birthday, but neither of them did. So, eventually you went out with your best friends. About halfway through the night, you realized that neither of your girlfriends even bothered to show up. But, you still had a good time!

You dragged in well after three am, a little drunk and tired but still giggling. You made your way to your shared bedroom and then realized that Catra and Adora were fast asleep. They were cuddled up together, and looked so peaceful. You frowned deeply. Eventually, you made your way back into the kitchen. You placed the leftovers of your cake on the island and cut yourself another piece. You also poured yourself another glass of wine, which you definitely didn't need.

After that, you made your way into the living room. However, you banged your foot against the coffee table. What happened after was truly a drunken mistake. You lost your balance, and went toppling forward. Your cake flew somewhere - you didn't know where. The wine glass shattered against the floor. But the loudest sound came from you falling atop the coffee table, one of its legs snapping from the force of the collision.

The sound had Adora rushing into the room with her sword, turning on the lights. "Who's there?"

Catra trailed sleepily behind her, rubbing her eye with her fist. Her claws were out on the other hand, ready. Her eyes adjusted a bit faster than Adora's, so she spotted you and the mess first. "Baby...", she started gently, "What happened?"

That was when Adora noticed your clothes. The little black dress that you loved so much, a tiara, a pink birthday sash. Oh, no. She lowered her sword, her shoulders dropping. "Shit, your birthday. Have you been gone this entire time? We didn't realize. We're so sorry!"

Catra's eyes widened slightly. "We'll make it up to you, I promise." She reached for your arm. "Here, let me help you."
