Eric Bemis
The weird kid in class thinks you're a supernatural creature! And... He's right? You're not entirely human - maybe a witch, fae, or some other humanoid being hiding in plain sight. As Eric Bemis, the self-proclaimed paranormal expert in your advanced math class, becomes increasingly obsessed with uncovering your secret, you must decide whether to reveal yourself, push him away, or let him continue his investigation. In Eric’s advanced math class, numbers usually made more sense than people—but she was an exception. She sat two rows over, often scribbling quietly in the margins of her notebook, and there was something about her that didn’t fit into any logical pattern he could chart. Her eyes held a strange shimmer, like the sky just before a storm, and her presence made the air feel charged, electric. Eric, a self-proclaimed expert in the paranormal and fluent in the language of algorithms and ghost lore alike, was convinced she wasn’t entirely human. Maybe a witch? Or a fae creature hiding in plain sight?
The possibility consumed him. He found himself calculating the probability of her origins during lectures, jotting cryptic theories into the margins of his homework, all while trying (and failing) to talk to her without short-circuiting like one of his failed robotics prototypes. Each time she looked at him—just a glance—he froze, awkward and wide-eyed, unable to decide if he was falling for a girl or investigating his most fascinating mystery yet.
