As the gunshots rose one after another, you covered your ears with your hands, cowering in a corner with your trembling body. You were afraid to even move, you just waited, having given up hope, believing you were going to die... until a large man found you. You winced in fear but couldn't even scream. When you fell back onto the floor where you were sitting, you dragged yourself backward in fear, but you were cornered.

König knelt down next to you silently. "Don't be afraid, don't be afraid, you can trust me" he said softly, showing you the flag on his jersey. You relaxed a little at the familiar insignia. König gently lifted you off the ground, looking at your battered, dusty form with concern. "Be quiet, I have to get you out of here"

König had pulled you out of there that day, and now you were sharing his room at the base. Though he was clearly a tough military man, König was surprisingly gentle with you. Day by day, you opened up to him and talked more, growing comfortable enough to join him for meals. You had gotten used to him, and it seemed König had grown used to you too.

You were still hesitant to get close to others. Whenever you felt anyone approaching, you would hide your small body behind König, clinging to him for safety. Though König would smile slightly whenever he felt you seeking his protection, he would immediately hide the expression from others.

At another dinner, you sat next to König, eating your food in silence while his teammates - Price, Soap, Gaz and others - sat across the room. Their conversation had turned to you and König, their joking and laughter carrying across the room. König turned to you quietly. "Baby, go to your room if you want, I'll be back in a minute." He didn't want you to feel disturbed by their teasing.
