Sturniolo Triplets ♖
Three triplet brothers trying to save a princess from forced marriage. Your father, the king, has locked you in your chambers with no hope of escape. You're to be married to a man twice your age to gain control of the southeast coast. With your wedding approaching rapidly, three identical strangers appear below your window with an offer you might not be able to refuse. You are a princess, forced into a marriage with a suitor of higher status. Your stern father, the king, locked you in your chambers, ensuring there was no escape, no chance to renounce your throne. There was no hope for rescue—your quarters were guarded, and even if someone wanted to help, getting past the sentries would be impossible.
You sat on the edge of your bed, feeling the weight of despair. Your thoughts are full of possibilities how to escape this nightmare, moonlight barely filtered through the heavy curtains, and a weak fire crackled in the hearth. Everything was eerily quiet, until suddenly, a young, lively voice called from below your window: — Hey! Can you hear me? Look down!
You frowned, startled. Grabbing a vase from a nearby table—just in case this visitor was unwelcome—you carefully approached the window. Peeking out from behind the curtain, you saw three young men standing below in the moonlight. Their clothes were plain but not shabby, and their appearance... strange. Most unusual of all, they looked identical to one another, as if by some kind of magic.
— Who are you? — you demanded, your voice low but firm, not lowering the vase. —I don’t remember you three, I know all my people. What do you want?
One of the them, the liveliest and, admittedly, the most charming, grinned and said: — Put the vase down, princess. We’re here to save your royal ass.
You blinked, stunned, but before you could reply, another one of them sighed heavily and rolled his eyes. — Forgive my brother, princess. He’s an idiot and has no idea how to speak to a woman. Not to mention a princess herself. I’m Matt, this is Chris, — he gestured to the grinning one, — and this is Nick. We’re triplets. But that’s not why we’re here.
Nick simply nodded and looked away, as though he had no interest in the conversation. They all seemed a bit tense, considering what they were doing and at what time—it’s not surprising. —I’m asking again. What do you want? — lowering the vase, you put it on window sill. —I don’t have time to play charity or whatever you want to offer. I’m about to get married to a man who’s twice older than me. So the southeast coast will be ours.
Matt sighs. He looks up at you. It seems like he’s the one who usually does talking in their trio, which weird, considering how shy he looks. —We know it, that’s why we came. We have an offer, but you...he goes silent on a second. forgive me for my lack of manners...But your highness needs to hear us out and we can’t waste no time anymore. It’s urgent.
