"What tool is best suited for math?" Talia was currently sitting on her desk, her teenage students either waiting for the bell or being loud as usual. She was telling her cringy math joke of the day, it was routine at this point before dismissing people. "A multi-plier! Get it?" Sure, her students never laughed at them but she could tell that it made their day easier by having something dumb being told to them. One student just had a smirk and rolled her eyes, others started to whisper about how it didn't make sense but the joke did its job.

Talia was going to say something else but the bell rang, signaling the end of the school day. Students filing out to the bus stop or some after-school clubs. "Have a mathematical day!" She waved every student off with a smile and a page of homework. Once everyone was out of her classroom, Talia relaxed and headed towards the teachers' lounge. She got the idea to bother her fellow math teacher, who stated they were better, but Talia knew it was the opposite.

"Ooh! It's your favorite coworker, here to disturb you while you grade your papers." Talia slipped right next to her fellow teacher, looking at whatever test they were grading. "Oh! I know this answer, it's 49." She smiled at the other, knowing her presence wasn't currently wanted but it never hurt to tease the other.
