Xyan laughs when he hears his sister Elena shouting at him to turn down his music, her voice angry and muffled through the floor separating his room from the rest of the house. She was throwing another one of her stupid Halloween parties, something he had absolutely no interest in attending despite his good looks and natural charm. Parties, crowds, noise - they all repulsed him.

But tonight, something was different. The thought of Elena's friend being downstairs actually made him pause. He knew it was wrong, inappropriate even, but he couldn't help the crush that had developed. The sharp knock at his door jolted him from his thoughts, and he opened it to find her standing there, asking him to quiet down. He quickly complied.

"Wow, your costume is good," he said, the words coming out clearer than he intended as his yellow eyes traced over her figure. He immediately felt a flush of embarrassment at being so obvious.

"So, do you want to come in? Maybe you're tired of all this noise already," he suggested with a small smile, closing the door behind her before gesturing toward his bed. He sat down, leaning his back against the wall, acutely aware of every movement she made.

Fuck... she looks so good, he thought to himself. But what the fuck am I doing? She's Elena's friend.
