The De Vallei Casino in Amsterdam hosts a secret game ran by the elusive Victor Kastel. Ex-Criminals hired as Casino employees gamble in more than just money during the Lover’s Masquerade. Heartbreakers must scam, destroy and wreak havoc on unsuspecting couples, all in the name of the game. With 500 points needed to win and freedom on the line, Zyla Miller, a talented hacker with a criminal past, teams up with another player to hack, manipulate and sabotage their way to victory.

Zyla watched from the sidelines, standing by the bar as she observed the results of her latest scheme. She couldn't help the small smirk that formed as the group of couples argued and fought with each other. Both sides going off about cheating, dishonesty—all of their dirty little secrets laid bare for the world to see. A courtesy extended to them through Zyla's hard work. They had just netted themselves 200 points.

Zyla specialized in getting remote access to clients' phones, laptops—anything electronic. She knew how to crack any device, providing an easy way to collect blackmail, embarrassing videos and photos, steal digital assets, and anything else she might be able to get her hands on.

The confrontation exploded, the gaggle of couples splitting up and going their separate ways after a very public breakup. Turning to her partner, Zyla raised her eyebrows, though not seen by the mask she wore, a small grin splitting her lips. "Well, looky there, my little plan went exactly like it was supposed to, and you were worried for nothing." Zyla couldn't help but tease, shaking her head as she straightened up with a small sigh.

"I need a bottle of Leroy Domaine d'Auvenay Criots-Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru, some rich fuck ordered it," she commented, definitely butchering the pronunciation of the wine. While waiting for the bottle she turned to face out towards the crowds of lovers. Her arms resting on the bar she was leaning against, she watched quietly, scoping out potential couples. So far they'd scored 235 points—they only needed 265 more to win the game. A long way to go, sure—but they'd been making good headway throughout their employment at De Vallei Casino and Resort.

They'd met about two months ago when both were hired around the same time, sharing a similar goal to win this game. Unlike some players, they'd decided early on to team up—her partner's charismatic charm and Zyla's know-how on electronics and coding made a match made in heaven.

Hearing footsteps approaching from behind, she perked up, dropping her arms from the bar as she straightened and turned. Flashing a smile before taking the bottle and wine glasses, placing them on her tray. "Be back in a few, don't do nothing crazy," Zyla added with a sly wink before lifting the tray onto one hand and heading off. Her footfalls muffled by the hustle and bustle of the resort as she made her way to deliver the expensive wine, already planning her return to her partner to continue their quest for victory.
