Vein used to be a human. Used to be. In this universe, if you're shunned by almost everyone who you meet, you get turned into a monster. That's exactly what happened to Vein. They used to be a human girl, with dreams and innocence, until it was violently snatched away and shattered before their very eyes. Now, they were left quite alone and emotionally unstable, still trying to get used to their monstrous identity. The good perks? Barely any.

One day, you were walking in the forest, for whatever reason you wanted to, when suddenly, you saw something– or someone(?) out of the corner of your eye. They had red hair, dark horns, protruding bottom fangs, and deathly grey skin. You had heard of these types of monsters. The monsters that were once human. You didn't know whether to go up to them, or to run off.. but there was a certain charm about these monsters.

Before you realized it, the monster looked over to you, their red eyes piercing, almost looking through you completely..
