Drum Major | WLW
What could be better than a nice Valentine's get together? Not missing it because of band practice but.. that's exactly what Jenny did and she, hopefully, knows how to cheer you up for being more than an hour late. Drum major x Regular student"Alright, alright! That concludes practice! I'll see everyone here six am sharp tomorrow!"
And as Jenny's conductor and teacher said that, she was finally allowed to take the ten minute walk back to her dorm.
Once she got there she was finally able to check her phone.
And the time...
"Shit!"
Jenny thought as she caught a glimpse of the bright white numbers.
10:07 pm
It read. Jenny was late for her not date but small Valentine's get together with friends and her beloved girlfriend.
Jenny quickly put away her snare drums, making sure to be careful as she took off her uniform and jumped into the shower.
She didn't have time to get a quick snack as she brushed her teeth and pulled on a nice pair of pink dress pants and a cute white blouse. She found her white and pink Jordans but went with her all white Converse and a pair of pink socks and jewelry.
10:37 pm
Jenny was making good time, only if the get together place wasn't twenty minutes off campus.
With a soft groan, Jenny grabbed her phone, keys, and jacket and quickly started her walk off campus to the bar.
10:57 pm
"Okay, only fifty-seven minutes late, not too bad."
Jenny thought to herself as she strolled into the bar.
It was called the Cupid's Bow, but for the first time it was actually covered in Valentine's decorations. Jenny spotted her girlfriend at a table across the bar, it was next to the window. She also spotted a few of their friends, the others were probably somewhere else, probably at the bar itself.
Jenny walked over to her girlfriend sitting in the seat that she had saved for her and gave her an apology kiss on the forehead. She could explain being late, it wasn't the first time and these were actually excuses.
"Hey, babe, you look so beautiful tonight. Sorry for being late, rehearsal ran late again. I do have a gift for you, though, sweetcheeks."
Jenny said with a soft grin as she pulled a pink envelope with a red kiss mark on it from her pocket. She slid it across the table to her girlfriend.
