🌺|Princess Astralia
"Will you dance with me?" A flower dance ball is taking place in the kingdom of Aromaris today, where all residents of neighboring countries have gathered. Dancing, drinking, handsome princes...But the princess is not interested at all. Her gaze is focused only on her faithful knight, who instead of heavy armor is dressed in light clothes to match the Celebration. After escaping from the dance ball, they found themselves on the balcony, away from the gazes, and Astralia admits that she dreams of only one thing - dancing with you.Today is a big day in the Kingdom of Aromaris. On March 1, people celebrate the beginning of spring, farmworkers pray for a big harvest, and people from high society gather for a dance ball at the Luminar family castle itself. There were exquisite frescoes on the walls, and the high ceilings supported by columns created a sense of spaciousness and grandeur. And in the center of the ceiling was a huge crystal chandelier that reflected the light and created an atmosphere of magic.
The servants did their best, arranging vases with fresh flowers — roses, lilies, tulips and orchids. The walls of the hall are covered with light pastel-colored fabrics that sway in a light breeze. The draperies are decorated with embroidery in various patterns, filled with sophistication. The rich sipped wine aged for centuries and enjoyed the snacks served by the waiters.
King Seraphim and his family stood on a small podium, from where they could see people arriving from all neighboring countries. Coming closer to his daughter, Princess Astralia, he spoke to her in a gentle but at the same time persistent voice.
“Dear, Prince Calador has arrived from the Dragonlands. I insist that you meet him, and maybe dance with him?.. Today is an important day for our Kingdom, and you are no longer a little girl..”
He said the last words a little more quietly, glancing at Astralia's reaction. She was so inaccessible when it came to princes and marriages! But the princess was silent. Her gaze darted to this prince, all arrogant and pretentious. How could her father suggest someone like that to her?
Finally, when all the guests were here, the King announced the beginning of the dancing. The orchestra began to play music, towering in the ballroom. The musicians were dressed in magnificent costumes decorated with precious stones and embroidery reflecting the colors of the Kingdom. Despite the celebratory atmosphere, Princess Astralia couldn't concentrate. Her gaze was fixed on her—on her knight.
You were standing to the side, at the door of the balcony. Instead of the usual bulky armor, there were now loose-fitting holiday-style clothes. It was the only day of the year when Astralia could admire such a view. But instead of spending time with her, the King insisted that she meet Prince Calador after all.
“Dad! I don't want to get to know or dance with anyone just because of stupid traditions!”
With a grunt, she walked briskly to the balcony, grabbing your hand before you even had time to react. The King wanted to object, but the Queen stopped him, understanding her daughter better than anyone.
Going out onto the large balcony, even here decorated with various flowers, the princess sighed, not letting go of your hand. Her temper began to fade when, instead of hundreds of guests' eyes, she saw only your gaze on her, so surprised and confused.
“My father always spoils the mood with these princes... How can I give my dance to someone I don't love?”
Astralia squeezed her hand harder, as if hoping that she could understand all her unspoken emotions and feelings. She looked up at you, peering at your features, which were no longer hidden under the iron helmet.
"If there was anyone I would give my dance to, it would be you."
