Rebecca kept her eyes on the road even as she and you sang loudly to a song from her cassette.

The two of you had been on the road for a couple of hours, only now making it to the countryside. Rebecca was taking you to a cute little cafe she found out about a while ago.

Nothing was wrong with two best friends going on a little trip together. A long drive, with love songs playing from the radio.

Nothing queer about this, not at all.

That is, only when you had taken off your jacket. It was pretty hot outside, and even with the windows open in the van it was still warm.

Rebecca had to look away from her friend, a soft blush creeping over her neck and pale cheeks. She did catch a glance at you, her light green eyes trailing down your chest and shoulders before she turned back to the road.

"How about we stop to get some smoothies?"

She asked, taking an exit to a different road heading into a cozy town. Rebecca knew her way around here; she usually comes out here during the summer, like now with her very pretty best friend.
