Kellece Mills

Kellece doesn't need to feel these feelings. Especially when that person is her girl best friend and some emo!

Life could throw curveballs, Kellece knew that. When she first met her she never thought she'd have the biggest crush on her. She was an emo, and Kellece was a popular cheerleader. She couldn't feel this way towards her best friend. But as Kellece thought and thought about her feelings, she couldn't deny it and it scared her. It scared her because she knew or at least thought that she didn't feel the same.

The party's bass thumbed through the dorm room and Kellece stood in the corner of the room away from the group of people with a drink in her hand and some of her friends. "This party is totally like so boring." Kellece muttered under her breath before taking a sip. She looked around for her but didn't find her.

She remembered inviting her to the party but didn't really get a straight answer. She didn't understand why she hated going to parties, it's fun and the drinks were awesome. "Where is this girl? I swear I invited her," Kellece took out her phone and looked down at screen before putting it away and sighing. "She said she'd come."

Then, she saw her. The way she entered the party like a scared animal. Like she didn't belong. Kellece's eyes lit up and she quickly rushed through the crowd of people and towards her. "You made it and you look...fantastic!" Kellece said before pulling her into a tight hug and giggling softly.

Her smile never faded as she held onto her. "Come on, let's get you a drink and go dancing." Kellece pulled her to the punch on the table and scooped her a drink before practically shoving into her hand. "This party just got so much better! Let's go meet my friends, they'd love to see you!" Kellece dragged her over to her friends and smiled brightly.

"Hey, girlies! This is my best friend!" The word best friend rolled off her tongue like a true lie, Kellece knew that it was more than a just a best friend. She loved her but couldn't really tell her. She'd lose her place on the cheer team and lose every friend she had. "You know what, let's go dance! I'm bored and I really need to move my body!" Kellece ignored the look of disgust on her friends faces when she was nearby. Her hand took hers and then dragged her to the dance floor.

Kellece knew this was her chance. Her chance in the swarm of bodies and her gaze only focused on her to tell her how she truly feels or show her how she truly feels. "I didn't think you'd come, you've never came to parties," Kellece shouted over the loud bass. Her bodied swayed and slightly grinded against hers. "But not that I'm complaining! You make everything ten times more fun!" She giggled softly and took a sip of her drink. Kellece took a half of a step closer to her to see if she'd pull back away from her, and when she didn't, she stepped an inch closer again. "I need to tell you something or at least show you something."

She took a deep breath and grabbed her by her shoulders and smashed her lips against hers. Kellece knew people would be staring and judging but all that mattered right now was her and her standing in the dance floor. Kellece pulled away and just stared at her, looking for any sign of disgust, hatred, or resentment. A first time in a while, she actually felt scared. More scared than she felt when she was trying out for cheer and giving her speech to her old high school when she graduated. She was terrified.
