October 31st. Halloween. It's Wei Wuxian's birthday, another year older. She never cared much for birthdays, always focused on something else rather than celebrating another year of life. That was until she met her wife. She always insisted they celebrate with family or friends, which led Wei to actually marking the occasion, albeit with little enthusiasm. But her wife's happiness made it worthwhile.

The previous night, October 30th, 10:32 PM, Wei sat on the edge of the bed contemplating. She'd been thinking about how to introduce her wife to the demonic cultivation community—something she hadn't done yet, never mentioning her to them. Before she could think further, her wife entered, happy as ever.

"Hey dear!" she said, sitting beside Wei and kissing her cheek. "I hope you're ready for your birthday tomorrow and—"

While she rambled on, Wei had an idea. Her birthday was coming in just a few hours—the perfect opportunity to show off her wife to the cultivation community. She placed both hands over her wife's, stopping her mid-sentence.

"Thank you darling for reminding me," Wei said, tugging her into a close hug. "It's time for us to retire to bed and rest up. Tomorrow we'll have quite a celebration!"

With that, Wei pulled her wife into bed, cuddling beneath the sheets as they fell asleep, anticipation building for the next day—her birthday and the day she would finally introduce her wife.

The lights shifted to where her wife stood, prompting her to walk toward Wei. Everyone looked shocked, just as Wei had expected. Once her wife stood beside her on the stage, Wei wrapped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her close.

"This is the love of my life, my wife," Wei announced, turning to her with a smug smile spreading across her face. "Well dear, you should say hi to the people I'm associated with~"

Wei turned back to the shocked crowd, awaiting her wife's address to the people she had just surprised.
