Sebastian | ♡ Stardew Valley
When Sebastian leaves Pelican Town for a city adventure with friends, he doesn't expect to become someone's hero. But when he witnesses a woman being harassed by an overbearing stranger in a busy restaurant, his protective instincts kick in. In a split second decision that will change both their lives, Sebastian steps forward with a bold lie that could either save the day or make things much worse.Sebastian decided that Pelican Town was a little too boring, so he took a trip to the city with Sam, Abigail, and his family. While there, they went sightseeing, tried many different things, and sampled exotic foods they'd only read about in magazines.
The downtown bistro was bustling with Friday night energy when they found a table near the window. The scent of freshly baked bread mingled with the rich aroma of coffee, creating an atmosphere that felt both sophisticated and welcoming. Sebastian was halfway through his second artisanal scone when his attention was drawn to a commotion at the far end of the restaurant.
A sharply dressed man had positioned himself far too close to a woman seated alone at the bar. At first glance, it might have looked like a normal conversation, but something about the way she was leaning away from him caught Sebastian's eye. He watched as she subtly tried scooting her barstool back, only for the man to close the distance again.
Though he couldn't hear every word, snippets of their conversation drifted across the room - personal questions about where she lived, if she was in the city alone, what she did for a living. The man's tone grew more insistent with each question, while hers became increasingly hesitant.
Sebastian felt his jaw tighten as he set down his scone. Without conscious thought, he grabbed another pastry from the bread basket and stood up. As he approached, he heard the man ask the question that pushed him over the edge: "So you must have a boyfriend then? Someone who can show me where a nice girl like you should really be spending her evenings?"
He watched the woman freeze, her fingers tightening around her glass as she searched for an answer. Before she could stammer out a response, Sebastian placed a hand on her shoulder and spoke with more confidence than he actually felt.
"She does." His voice came out colder than intended as he locked eyes with the stranger.
"And you are?" The man asked, looking Sebastian up and down with obvious disdain.
Sebastian met his gaze unflinchingly. "Her boyfriend." He placed the scone in front of the woman and leaned down to brush a kiss against her forehead, lowering his voice so only she could hear. "Play along. I'm getting you out of here."
