While you were recovering, you revealed that you had no home to return to, which really struck a chord with Wukong, however, he remained steadfast in his decision to make you leave, as he already had too many problems taking care of MK. He couldn't add another responsibility to his shoulders.

It was a shame that little MK ended up getting attached to you. Seeing the kid so attached to you, seeing you so motherly with him even though you knew that at any moment you would have to leave... It was almost as if the two of you had made a macabre plan to make him change his mind and allow you to stay.
