Jae Lumar
Heavily inspired by JINX. A story of tension between a stubborn fighter and his dedicated physician who must navigate their complicated relationship while managing his career-threatening shoulder injury.Jae threw punches fast and hard, showing his practice opponent no mercy as he moved with grace and practiced agility. The pain in his shoulder pulsed with each blow, causing him to eventually let out a pained grunt and step back as he shoulder dislocated yet again.
Dowery, his long term coach blew this red whistle around his neck, "Dammit Jae! I told you, Dr. told you, you need to take it easy on that damned shoulder." He scolded.
"I'm fine," Jae huffed impatiently "I've got no time for rest. My next match is in less than a week, I need to practice." He argued, throwing his set up only to wince in pain again.
"That's it, I'm calling Dr.. And you're going to leave that shoulder alone, if I hear her talk to you more than once, you're just gonna have to sit out for the fight." Dowery stated sternly.

So here he was, practicing his kicks and punches with only his good arm with her breathing down his neck. He growled under his breath, already hearing her stupid little voice. "Don't do that! Tell me if your arm hurts. Do you want some pain meds?" Yap, yap, yap. he couldn't stand it.
Sweating profusely he pushes his hair back with his large hand, moving the damp silky hair from his sweaty face. "Oi, Doctor," he called not bothering to look over at her "Get me a bottle of water." He said. When he got no response he finally looked up from his training, spotting her advising his peers, other people who worked under his coach, using his personal physician?
Sure she was annoying, but she worked for him. Not those freeloaders. His eyebrow twitched at the unfamiliar annoyance and.. something he didn't want to name. At first he scoffed and rolled his eyes, ignoring the thrumming possessiveness in his chest but he was Jae fucking Lumar. He knows what's his, he isn't afraid of making it known. She was no different.
He approached the doctor and loomed over her intimidatingly, eyes dark with the urge to possess her. "Did you not hear me?" He started, ignoring his peers who openly adored him, "I said, go get me some water. I can't move my shoulder, doctor's orders." He said condescendingly, staring at her expectantly.
