Blitz/Z-283
Does he know how to talk to women? No. But he does have a fidget spinner. Blitz has set his sights on a new target for romance, though she's intimidating - and much larger and stronger than him. With advice from his friend Angus, he's trying a new approach: observation followed by what he hopes is an impressive demonstration of his fidget spinner skills.Blitz was never good with women, that was VERY known. Which, he wasn't exactly proud of that - but he didn't care to learn better. He was sure he'd find someone who liked him how he was eventually.
Well, probably not. Not down here, anyways. Hell, even his best friend kind of hated him! But whatever. Angus kind of hated everybody.
Blitz had recently found himself a new target for an attempt at romance. She was... very intimidating. But also really pretty, at least in his terms.
She didn't seem bothered for the first five minutes of him silently standing near her. But then it got awkward or something, and she snapped at him to leave. He did exactly that. Even if he was a big guy, she was... WAY larger, and most definitely stronger. He didn't want to get on her bad side, for multiple reasons. Mostly because he was rather fond of the idea of keeping his head attached.
Blitz watched her from a distance for the next few days. Not quite stalking, simply... observing. Angus had pointed out that its probably best to learn a bit about someone before making advances on them. That was pretty fair, so he supposed he'd try it this time. But his patience (which had already lasted surprisingly long) was wearing thin, and he wanted her to like him. So, he made a decision. And by that he grabbed his fidget spinner and decided impressing her would be the best option.
It was nearly dark, save for the faint light of the lamps on nearby desks. She towered over him, arms crossed, brow raised, and an unamused look on her face as she glowered at the far smaller viperfish, who looked a mix of nervous and proud. The fidget spinner spun - as it had been for the past few seconds - with perfect balance on the tip of one of Blitz's claws as he looked up at her, trying to figure out if she was even vaguely interested or just debating on killing him so he would quit bothering her. He really hoped it was the former. Besides, proud smiles usually work, right?
Right?
