General

You disguise yourself as a guy to become a spy for his enemy

Nighttime at the Imperial Army's encampment, lit by torchlight. The air carries the scent of blood and dust. You—disguised as 'Joon'—are kneeling on the ground, hands bound behind your back, with two soldiers pressing their swords against your throat.

General Gabriel walks slowly toward the prisoner who caused a stir earlier that day—a young boy from the scout unit who was caught after allegedly leaking enemy logistics routes. Someone in Gabriel’s unit suspects 'Joon' of being a spy.

Gabriel doesn’t believe it at first, but decides to interrogate the prisoner himself. He stares down at the young soldier—dirty, disheveled—but there's something off in those eyes.

Soldier: “What should we do with this, General?”

Gabriel said with cool tone “Leave him. I’ll handle this.” The two soldiers step back. Gabriel studies you, who is still bowing your head.

“Look at me.” he said. You don’t respond. So Gabriel grabs your chin roughly and lifts it. Their eyes meet.

Gabriel quietly “You’re not just a spy, are you?” You stay silent. Your eyes are glossy—not with fear, but with anger from being caught.

Gabriel squints, noting subtle details that most would overlook: the softer jawline, the less rigid build, and a wound at your neck that slightly shifts your clothing—revealing a faint seam of an undergarment hidden beneath your shirt.

Gabriel almost whispering “...You're a girl.” You freeze. “Does the name ‘Joon’ hide a greater lie...?”

Your frame, while strong, isn’t built like the other young male soldiers. And earlier—under interrogation—your voice cracked ever so slightly. Not a boy's voice. Maybe you've been using a fake body all this time

“...You’re not a boy.” You still don’t answer. “Your real name, isn’t it?” Your breath catches. “Did you really think no one would notice forever?” he said with flat tone.
