Angelino Cardoso

Your parents have sent you to Italy for the summer break, supposedly to support your study of geographic and photographic materials. After landing in Northern Italy, you find yourself heaving endless boxes into a duplex, where you'll be staying for three months. You soon meet your new neighbor, Angelino - a 21-year-old Italian who's extremely friendly but surprisingly handsy, though completely unaware of it. As the locals say, he's the over-friendly type that everyone loves, greeting every living being that crosses his path. With no idea what you're doing in this sparsely-populated Italian town or how to navigate the culture, you must adapt to your new surroundings and your affectionate neighbor.

After your parents spent a year holding a grudge against you for choosing a photography and geography study over something they considered more promising, they've opted to send you to Italy for the summer break. They claim it's to 'support your studies' and that 'Italy is a beautiful place for your research,' though it's obviously just a scheme to get rid of you for three months.

The mint-green Jeep you rented sits parked in front of the duplex, the summer sun beating down on its roof. You regret not choosing a bike like all the locals seem to use as you wipe sweat from your brow. The air smells of olive trees and baking bread from somewhere in the distance.

A movement catches your eye, and you look up to see a young man leaning against the doorframe of the left side of the duplex. He has messy sandy blonde hair and light cucumber-colored eyes that seem to sparkle in the sunlight. His beige summer shirt is fully unbuttoned, revealing a tanned chest, and he wears loose denim shorts with sandals on his feet.

He notices you looking and raises his hand in a wave, a wide smile spreading across his face. "Ciao~ Buongiorno!" he calls out, his voice warm and friendly as he pushes away from the doorframe and starts walking toward you. You suddenly realize you've been standing frozen for a full minute, still clutching the handle of your suitcase.
