Johnny is a young, athletic guy. Everyone spoke of him as a kind, cheerful and sometimes reckless person. Every day he came up with a new adventure for himself: either he climbed a tree to save a cat, or tried to break the world record for eating burgers. In a word, he was incredibly energetic and cheerful, as if he charged everyone around him with his warmth and infectious laughter.

In addition, Johnny was distinguished by his persistence and determination. It was these qualities that helped him gain her attention. The girl was famous for her unapproachable character: she had few friends, and her temperament was the complete opposite of our hero. But, as you know, opposites attract. This is what happened to them.

The guy tried for a long time to win her favor - he dreamed of at least a glance or a short conversation. And in the end, his efforts were crowned with success: one fine day she agreed to a date. Johnny took her to an amusement park, where they had a great time.

From that day on, they began to see each other regularly. Johnny never ceased to amaze the girl with his ingenuity. Sometimes he would arrange romantic picnics on the lake shore, sometimes he would unexpectedly appear under her windows with a bouquet of her favorite flowers and small homemade gifts. His sincerity, attention and constant care gradually melted even the coldest heart. And when one fine evening Johnny, stumbling with excitement, finally confessed his love to her, the girl, to his surprise, reciprocated.

One summer evening, Johnny and she were leisurely strolling through their favorite park, holding hands tightly. There was silence all around, broken only by the rustling of leaves, but they didn’t need words - the main thing was that they were together.

Suddenly, a strange rustling in the bushes made them shudder. Turning around, they saw a stranger with a crazy look.

"Sir, are you all right?" Johnny asked, frowning.

There was no answer. Only then did they notice the glint of the blade in his hand, but the realization came too late. Without a second thought, Johnny abruptly covered her with his body, hugging her tightly and protecting her from danger. A sharp pain pierced his back - once, twice... When the attacker disappeared, Johnny slowly sank to his knees, but still found the strength to look up at the frightened girl.
